Skin Peels – $57 per session

What are Chemical Peels?

Peels use AHAs and BHAs (alpha hydroxy or beta hydroxy acids) such as glycolic acid, lactic acid and salicylic acid to expedite the exfoliation process of surface skin cells. This increased exfoliation stimulates new skin cells to regenerate, so you will be achieving results from the bottom and the top of the epidermis at the same time.

What results can I expect?

Your skin will look instantly brighter and over time will get noticeably smoother. Depending on the type of peel used and the timing of application, your skin may peel to reveal new, smoother skin beneath.

What does the treatment involve?

The treatment involves an application of a liquid peel to the surface of the skin. There will be a slight tingling and in some cases a stinging sensation. The skin peel is not on the surface of the skin for long, and the treatment is quite bearable. There are a range of chemical peels used to address different skin concerns. You may be slightly red after the treatment but that will fade within a few hours.

The treatment is best performed as a series of 6 weekly treatments for best results, and you will need to be using the appropriate Medik8 skincare for at least 4 weeks before treatments can begin. The treatment will take 15 minutes but please allow 20 minutes for treatment time.

These treatments can address the following skin concerns:

What people say about this treatment

My skin had quite bad pigmentation before I did the peels. Sophie put me onto some great products and did a course of 6 Light Peels, and my skin looks so much better.
